Imagine a world where power stations are paid to pollute? Literally paid billions to burn more and more trees.
That’s exactly the case with Drax.
Drax power station is the UK’s biggest CO2 polluter and the world’s biggest tree burner. Yet it receives billions in government subsidies, which sounds like a bad joke to us.
Greenpeace turned to Daughter to put pressure on the government and help put an end to these ridiculous subsidies.
We teamed up with NY Times illustrator Graham Roumieu to create a suite of print and digital OOH ads for the Times, TFL and Private Eye. Taking our inspiration from the joke books of old to communicate just how unfunny the situation really is.
